Partagas Serie D No. 5

The Partagas Serie D No. 5 is a Petit Robusto vitola. The No. 5 starts out slowly with a subtle chocolate flavour on the cold draw, once lit it has a delicate smoke that is prominently flavoured by leather, nuts and a touch of chocolate. In the second half the flavours and body come up significantly, the smoke output increases and additional flavours of honey and white pepper come into the mix and the nuttiness dominates. The body hovers around a medium for the duration while the flavours increase to a medium-full point, and the smoking time finishes around the one-hour mark.
