2013 was an important year for Davidoff, as it marked the introduction of the very first Davidoff cigar carrying the Black Band – Davidoff Nicaragua.

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of this modern classic, Davidoff's Master Blenders set out anew to explore, adventure and discover, this time to climb to new heights of taste & match Nicaragua’s volcanic peaks.

Created for those seeking new and unique taste experiences. This limited-edition cigar is comprised of an incredible blend of tobaccos that have an impressive, combined 45 years of aging. Within the aged filler, binder and wrapper, Davidoff’s blenders introduced a 9-year-old Esteli tobacco to the mix for the first time.

But still they continued to pursue the extraordinary. Not content with unearthing a new Nicaraguan variety, they aged Esteli tobacco in rum casks for added depth and distinctiveness. From the widest ranges to their imagination and their craft, this is the flavour journey they have delivered. Embarking through notes of roasted nuts, the taste gives way to oak work and ends intensely with black coffee.
