Building on the success of Cavalier Genève’s White Series and Black Series, the Black Series II makes a striking impression in any humidor. Its standout feature is a diamond-shaped 24K gold leaf band that commands attention. This smoky gold band is fully smokeable—easy to nub, as experienced smokers will attest—but the true highlight is its complex flavor profile. Owner Sebastien Decoppet chose a coveted dark, oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper to encase Nicaraguan Habano leaves in the binder and filler. Crafted by hand at the boutique San Judas Tadeo factory in Honduras, the cigar is box-pressed for a comfortable feel and a cool smoking experience. It delivers a smooth, medium-bodied flavor with notes of toasted oak, earth, roasted nuts, vibrant cinnamon on the retrohale, and a lingering finish of dark stone fruit.
